Amidst the shadows, my heart finds its pain

Tears in the rain, like lost dreams, they wane. 

Aching echoes of a broken heart's song

In the quiet of night, where I belong. 

Sadness like a shroud, heavy and gray

Weighs me down, night and day. 

Yet, through the tears and darkest strife

I'll find the strength to embrace life. 

Whispers of memories, bittersweet and cold,

In the recesses of my mind, stories unfold  

Of love lost and dreams that couldn't be

These are the sorrows that dwell in me. 

Each tear that falls tells its own tale, Of love's promises, frail and frail. 

In the realm of longing, where I reside

Hope's fragile flame continues to hide. 

The world turns, and time marches on

But the pain endures, the hurt isn't gone. 

Yet, there's beauty in sorrow's embrace,

In the tears that mark love's trace. 

In the depths of despair, a heart's true art,

To find solace in the poetry of a broken heart. 

Each word a reflection of the soul's cry,

In the language of sadness, we wonder why. 

But even in sadness, there's a certain grace,

As tears cleanse the heart, like rain on the face.

The deepest sorrows may never truly depart

But they become a part of the soul's very heart.
